Brian Elston is a freelance lighting designer and assistant lighting designer based in Chicago, IL. Brian has a passion for story telling and contributing to the larger aesthetic of productions. Brian's past designs include: Princess and the Pea (Marriott Theatre) Seusical the Musical (Drury Lane) Corduroy, The Wiz, Magic Treehouse (Emerald City Theatre) Hair, A Christmas Carol in Prose, Hedwig and The Angry Inch, Cyrano (Parallel 45 Inc.) Les Misrables, Henry V, Oklahoma! (Interlochen Center for the Arts).
He holds a BFA in design and technology from Columbus State University in Columbus, GA and an MFA in lighting design from The Ohio State University.
